Eminem – Keepin’ it Real

“In what has to be one of the most unlikely endorsements semi-psychotic rapper Eminem has ever received, a prominent Hindu statesman, Rajan Zed, applauded him for agreeing to fly out 200 laid-off Detroit autoworkers to Los Angeles for tonight’s taping of the Jimmy Kimmell show, the first of three scheduled appearances where he’ll be performing new songs from his forthcoming Relapse album. Zed was so impressed by the emcee’s good faith gesture that he even quoted ancient scripture on his behalf: “Give with faith. Give with love. Give with joy,” and adds, “Wisdom means a life of selfless service.” He also suggested that celebs like “George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Oprah Winfrey” and other A-listers could learn a lot from Eminem’s generosity during these trying economic times.”

Good for you Eminem, you show them chumps that us crackers aren’t so bad after all. You know you did something good when Rajad Zed hollars atcha’.. whoever he is.

Radiohead was so Awesome

So we went to Radiohead last night at the Hollywood Bowl – it was amazing. Most definitely the best concert I have ever been to. Parking prices were a little ridiculous but I guess that’s expected from Hollywood. A band called the Liars opened for them – a little loud and obnoxious for my taste. Sounded like they wanted to be some grungy 80′s punk band so bad but it just wasn’t working for them.

I do have to mention the incredible chicken wings we ate before going to the show – I was bragging to Adam right now, he’s so jealous. They were absolutely incredible though, it was like sex in my mouth. The only downside is that I didn’t bring any for lunch today.

We got in some great chug time in the bathrooms before entering the Bowl seeing they don’t allow glass bottles – what a bunch of suckers. Overall the show was great, wouldn’t expect anything any different Nohemi and I were a little disappointed they didn’t play too many old songs from OK Computer or Kid A. I only had my camera phone for pictures and the lights were so incredibly bright on the stage everything just blurred. It’s definitely something that has to be experienced in person. Not to mention who else has a recycled polyester t-shirt? Well we do suckas!

After the show they were handing out the standard propaganda and this caught my eye

Some sweet artists playing at that next month.
